Known for his speed and skills on the football field, retired NFL Safety Mike Minter has found new success as an accomplished motivational speaker, community pastor and entrepreneur. But success has not always come easy. As one of four children, Minter grew up in a single parent home in the projects of Lawton, Oklahoma. Though the odds were stacked against him, he excelled in both athletics and academics earning a degree in engineering from the University of Nebraska and a 10-year career with the Carolina Panthers.
Minter credits his discipline, determination and dedication along with a strong faith in God for his success on and off the field. Minter's testimony is filled with emotional challenges and thrilling successes that inspire young and old to follow their dreams.
