Mike's personal philosophy is exemplified in the phrase "faith, family and fun."
He explained, "When you think of faith, that's number one. That's God. He created you for a purpose. He gave you a vision. He gave you your talent to glorify Him. He gave you the Word to give you direction in life. He gave you the Holy Spirit to give you the power to make it happen.
"When I think of my family, I think of my security blanket. When I'm out and about and fighting the world.then I come home to my family where it's safe, and I know they love me. That's your strength. That's what keeps you going.
"Fun.now that's the spice of life. I tell people all the time, 'You better be having fun at what your doing, or you need to go do something else.' Whatever it is you're doing, at the end of the day, it needs to be fun."
Unlike many of celebrity status, you won't see Mike with an entourage. He chose to make the Charlotte, NC area his home. He frequents area restaurants and retail stores as Mike Minter just being Mike Minter.the guy from a small town in Oklahoma.
