A few years ago, I started taking inventory of my many years as a pastor.
What have I learned about life? About people? About relationships? About God? About the gospel?
Though this short book is not at all comprehensive, it does reflect many thoughts, lessons, reflections, and musings throughout my time in the pastorate. I could have expanded on these thoughts but that would have turned into a massive book with no consistent theme. Rather, I decided to put these thoughts on a diet and distill them into more bite-sized portions. Thus the title, My Thoughts Distilled.
This is not meant to be a devotional. It is, rather, a collection of thoughts on numerous subjects. My prayer and my heart’s desire is for the reader to think outside the box and see life as God sees it.
May you be as blessed in reading these pages as I have been in writing them.
